For over twenty years, I’ve built a career in writing—publishing across genres, navigating the industry as both a traditionally and independently published author, and continuing to evolve with every book.
Along the way, I’ve taught workshops and classes for writers around the world, earned my MFA in Creative Writing, and worked with undergraduate students as a creative writing instructor. I’ve seen the writing life from every angle: the excitement, the uncertainty, the setbacks, and the breakthroughs.

Book Coaching
Writing a novel is a big undertaking, and sometimes the difference between starting a book and actually finishing it is having someone in your corner. My one-on-one book coaching provides personalized guidance, professional feedback, dedicated deadlines, and ongoing accountability to help you make consistent progress on your manuscript.
We'll work together to identify your goals, strengthen your story, troubleshoot problems as they arise, and create a writing schedule that keeps you moving forward one deadline at a time.
Monthly Book Coaching Includes:
- Dedicated weekly deadlines tailored to your individual writing goals, with the opportunity to submit up to 3,000 words each week for personalized feedback
- Weekly editorial feedback focused on the areas that will have the greatest impact on your manuscript and help you strengthen the story as you write
- Two private 30-minute coaching calls each month to discuss your progress, brainstorm ideas, work through story challenges, and determine your next steps
- Personalized guidance on plot, character development, structure, pacing, conflict, tension, and other craft elements
- Brainstorming and problem-solving when you're stuck or unsure where the story should go next
- Personalized writing goals and accountability designed around your manuscript, schedule, and goals
- Email support between sessions for brief questions and check-ins
- Guidance on revision, querying, and next steps as you move toward a finished manuscript

One of the most rewarding parts of my career has been mentoring writers. Over the years, I’ve coached aspiring authors, taught creative writing, and helped writers take the next step toward their publishing dreams. There is nothing I love more than watching someone go from “I’ve always wanted to write a book…” to “I’m writing my novel.” Or "I wish I could finish my book..." to "I finished my book!"
That’s why I’m thrilled to introduce my 30-Day Book Kickstart—an intimate small-group mentorship designed to help you stop procrastinating, build momentum, and finally begin or finish the novel you’ve always wanted to write.
Over 30 days, you’ll work alongside a small community of fellow writers while receiving expert instruction, personalized guidance, and direct feedback from me every step of the way.
Inside the mentorship you’ll receive:
- Four recorded workshops
- Four live group coaching sessions
- Four live group writing sprints
- Two private one-on-one coaching calls with me
- A personalized critique of your first 50 pages
- A professional edit of your first 50 pages by my trusted freelance editor
- Daily motivation, accountability, and encouragement
Because this is a small-group mentorship, enrollment is intentionally limited to no more than five writers. My goal is for every participant to receive individualized attention while also benefiting from the encouragement, accountability, and shared experience of writing alongside other novelists.

For one month, you’ll have a clear writing goal, daily encouragement and accountability, dedicated writing time, a community working alongside you, and personalized coaching to help you push through the places where you get stuck. Hourly Consulting
Sometimes you don’t need ongoing coaching—you just need an experienced author in your corner for an hour. Hourly consulting sessions are designed to give you focused, personalized guidance on your book, your writing career, or a specific challenge you’re trying to work through.
Bring your questions, ideas, roadblocks, or pages, and we’ll use our time together to brainstorm, troubleshoot, and create clear next steps.
Consulting sessions can include:
- Plotting and story development
- Character development and story structure
- Brainstorming and working through plot problems
- Writing craft and manuscript questions
- Query letters and querying strategy

- Pitching your novel

Whether you’re stuck on a plot point, preparing to query, trying to make a publishing decision, or simply need an experienced sounding board, we can tailor the hour to exactly what you need.
Hourly consulting sessions are $175 for 60 minutes, with the option to book a 30-minute follow-up for $95. Payment is due at the time of booking to secure your session. Before we meet, you’ll have the opportunity to submit your primary questions and topics so we can make the most of our time together.
